Chinen Misaki Park

A spectacular spot with God’s Island floating close by and a view of the far horizon

Chinen Cape, located in the southern part of Okinawa’s main island, is a sightseeing spot that should not be missed. Located behind the Nanjo City Regional Products Museum, Chinen Cape Park is equipped with a walking trail and pavilion that are perfect for strolling.

The beautiful Pacific Ocean stretches out below you, and the sea breeze caressing your cheeks will make you feel as if you are being whispered to by your lover.

From the tip of the cape, you can see the “God’s Island” of Hisaka Island and Komaka Island floating in the Okinawa blue ocean up close, offering a panoramic view far into the distance.

Watching the sunrise with this beautiful view will surely make your heart flutter and feel romantic! It is also a great night view spot, as you can see a star-filled starry sky at night.

Nearby Chinen Cape Park is Saiba Gogoku, a World Heritage Site, which is also a good place to stop by on your way to the park.

There is also a monument in the park, which offers a spectacular view of the horizon. Be sure to visit and enjoy the panoramic view of the beautiful colors of the sea as well as the coral reefs.
