Toguchi Beach

A beautiful beach with a large arch

Toguchi-no-hama is located in the southwestern part of Irabu Island, northwest of Miyako Island. This beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Miyako Islands, along with “Yonaha Maehama.

The 50-meter wide natural sand beach made of fine white sand stretches for about 800 meters.

The clear and beautiful sea is famous throughout the prefecture. The beach is backed by a seawall forest, creating a contrast between the azure sea, white sand, and green trees.

Walking barefoot on the smooth sandy beach, you can feel the soft sand and the warmth of the tropics.

At the west end, there is a breakwater several tens of meters long, and looking out to sea, you can see the horizon in the distance, and looking back, you can see the bow-shaped beach.

There are two entrances to the beach, one at the east end and one at the west end, and both locations have concession stands that also serve as restaurants, and parking, restrooms, and showers are available.

At the west end, visitors can rent a variety of marine goods.

Visitors can enjoy playing in the ocean at the natural beach created by nature that stretches in a bow.

Visit Watakuchi no Hama with its crystal clear sea and white sand, known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the prefecture.
