Nirai Beach

A natural beach with coral reefs in crystal clear waters and a variety of marine leisure activities

Hotel Nikko Alivila” in Yomitan Village has “Nirai Beach” located amidst beautiful sugar cane fields.

This beach is famous for its coral reefs, which are among the most beautiful on the main island of Okinawa, as well as for its high transparency, and for the sea turtles that come to lay their eggs here.

The ocean is shallow, and the reef rises and falls with the tide, giving the beach a variety of different appearances.

Especially at low tide, visitors can enjoy looking for creatures on the ino around the mushroom rocks and near the reef.

Since this is the hotel’s beach, there are also a variety of marine activities available, such as glass boats, jet skis, and beach canoes.

Snorkeling and diving are also popular, and after enjoying marine leisure activities, watching the beautiful sunset over the East China Sea is recommended.
