Cape Zanpa Lighthouse

A white lighthouse standing on a cape with 30-meter-high cliffs

Cape Zanpa is the last place where the sun sets at the end of the main island of Okinawa. The natural cliffs here stretch for 2 km, and at the end of the cliffs stands a huge white lighthouse.

Fishing and diving are popular here, as well as the spectacular view from the top.

The statue of Taisei, the “god of business” of the Ryukyu Dynasty, is located in the vicinity, creating a sacred atmosphere.

At “Cape Zanpa Ikoi no Hiroba,” visitors can meet cute goats, turtles, and other small animals, and play freely on the expansive lawn.

There are also tennis and basketball courts for sports enthusiasts.
The largest and most impressive of all is the 7-meter tall shisa, the largest in Okinawa.

Zanbo Beach, which stretches in front of the cape, is a beautiful stretch of coastline.
Why not visit Cape Zanba, a place full of nature and fun?
