Kori Ocean Tower

Blue sea and sky as far as the eye can see

Kori Island is a remote island famous as the “Island of Love” where the legend of Adam and Eve is told.

Crossing the 1,960-meter-long Kori Ohashi Bridge, which connects Kori Island and Motobu Peninsula, you will feel as if you are driving on the sea.

The Kori Ocean Tower, one of the most popular tourist attractions on Kori Island, offers an endless view of the blue sea and sky.

Located 82 meters above sea level, the first floor houses the Kori Island Museum, which exhibits the history of Kori Island, and the second and third floors are indoor observation floors.

From the indoor observation floor, visitors can enjoy a wonderful view from the window frames, with the scenery spreading out like a painting.

If you go to the ocean deck on the rooftop, you can enjoy the open view while being surrounded by the sea breeze. Ring the happy bells and take a memorable photo.

The Shell Museum also displays more than 10,000 shells collected from all over the world, many of which are rare and valuable.

At the restaurant, you can enjoy a delicious meal while viewing the Okinawan sea from the terrace.

Visitors can also use a “superb view cart” to access the observation tower. Visitors can enjoy the spectacular viewpoint of the Kori Ohashi Bridge and the emerald green ocean as they slowly move in an automatic cart through the garden where Okinawan plants such as adans, cycads, and fukugi greet them.

The cart ride takes about 8 minutes, and an audio guide in the cart introduces the island’s history and tourist attractions, allowing visitors to further enjoy the charms of Okinawa.
